حب من بداية الزمان

حَتَّى وَلَوْ وَقَعَتِ السَّماءُ وإخْتَفَتْ الجِبالُ وجَفَّتْ البِحار وتَحَوَّلَتْ المياه إلى غُبارٍ ورَفَضَتِ الشَمْسُ أَنْ تَشْرُقَ سَوْفَ أَجِدُ طَريقي بِالضِياء الذي أَرَاه في عَينيكِ. العالَمُ الذي أَعرفه يَتَوارى وَلكِنَّكِ تَبْقَيْنَ

حَتَّى بعد أن تُطالِبُ الأَرضُ بمُسْتَحِقها وتَبْدَأُ دَورةُ الحَياةِ  مُجَدَّداً سَوْفَ نَبْقى دائِماً في الحُبِّ الذي نتشارِكه مُنذُ بِدايَةِ الزَمانِ

حَتَّى وَلَوْ أَزالَتِ السَنَواتُ كل ذِكْرى لديّ سَوْفَ أَعْلَمُ الطَريق الذي يَقُودني إلى جانِبِك. قد يموت نجم الشمال أما النور الذي أَرَاه في عَينيكِ فسَوْفَ يَحْتَرِقُ دائِماً بِالحُبِّ الذي نتشارِكه مُنذُ بِدايَةِ الزَمانِ

حَتَّى بعد أن تَحَوَّلَتْ الغابةُ إلى يَشْمٍ وذابَتْ القِصَصُ التي خلقناها سَوْفَ يَبْقَى نورٌ بَراقٌ واحدٌ. وبعد أن نطرحُ جلدنا الأرضي ونبدأ حياتنا الحقيقة لن يكن الخَجَل بل سَوْفَ يكونُ فَقَط الحُبّ الذي خلقناه في بِدايَةِ الزَمانِ

“A Love Before Time” was the end-credit song from the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The song was nominated for Academy Award for Best Song in 2000. It was written by Jorge Calandrelli, Tan Dun (music), and James Schamus (lyrics) It was performed by Coco Lee, who also performed the song live at the Academy Award ceremony in 2001. The Chinese language version of the song is called 月光爱人 (Simplified Chinese) Yuè Guāng Ài Rén (Moonlight Lover).*
